January's full moon means it's time for our traditional Owl Moon hunt. On Wednesday, January 31, children age 3 and older are invited to join us for a night of owl stories, and a hunt through the darkened Marjorie Hattersley Children's Room, for our beautiful white owl. As always, children should bring a flashlight to light their way on the hunt. Following the stories and owl hunt, we'll enjoy a special winter snack. Please call Mrs. Kraimer to let us know that your child will be here. This program will begin at 6pm.
Attention Pokemon fans! We'll be hosting Pokemon trading on Thursday afternoons throughout January, from 3:30 to 4:15pm. Bring your cards....maybe you'll find just the one you've been looking for! It's not necessary for parents to stay in the Program Room during this activity.
Story times will resume during the week of January 1 and run through the week of February 5. Pre-school story time (ages 3-6) are on Tuesdays at 3:30pm, with stories, finger plays, and crafts.
Children in grades K thru 2 are invited to share stories, poems, puzzles and crafts on Wednesdays at 3pm. Toddler Time, on Thursdays at 11am, includes puppets, music, stories, and flannel board rhymes for children 18 to 36 months. Please call Mrs. Kraimer at 508-634-2209, or e-mail (ekraimer@cwmars,org) for information.
Watch for information about our Valentine Chocolate Fest for grades 5-9, and Bedtime Math, with sessions for children in grades K-2, and 3-5, coming in February!
